This unassembled Watersedge Purple Martin house is constructed with aluminum, which is best suited for the Purple Martin. It is cooler than plastic. The 12″ x 6″ suite this house offers, utilizes two compartments per family offering an entry room and a nesting room which provides great protection from predators. It also features starling-resistant entrance holes which have been a tried and proven method for helping eliminate the pesky European Starling.  The house comes unassembled.

The fabulous Hotel California is now available as the third in our line of Purple Martin birdhouses. This ten-room, fully functional birdhouse is inspired by the main pavilion of the iconic Del Coronado Hotel. A San Diego landmark, the” Del” has welcomed Presidents, royalty, and Hollywood celebrities for over 100 years. This dramatic Victorian design with its signature red roof and peek-a-boo dormers is topped off with a cupola proudly flying an American flag. This house comes equipped with a mounting base with a sleeve for setting on top of a standard 4 X 4 base. In order to attract Purple Martins, the recommended location of this house should be a combination of open fields and water. The house should be 12 to 14 feet high.
