We’re holding our first live Facebook discussion Saturday 11am CST

It’s that time of year again when the temperatures drop, the snow falls and the propensity to stay indoors is at its highest. Throughout the ups and downs of winter, our feathered friends still need our help more than ever. While some birds have migrated to warmer weather (unless you’re one of those lucky people who live in those locales), there are many that stay behind, which leaves people with plenty of questions.

That’s why we’ve decided to try something on this blog we’ve never done before. In order to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions and make comments on bird feeding in the winter, we’re hosting an exciting live discussion on our Facebook page Saturday at 11:00 am CST.

The topic of this live discussion will center around winter bird feeding and general winter bird topics, so we want you to bring your questions. To make this a more interactive discussion, we are encouraging all of you to chime in with your own tips and advice because you all have your own helpful tips and tricks to share. So, on Saturday at 11:00 am CST, log on to the Backyard Chirper Facebook page and there you should see the comments and conversations in real-time. We’ll be going until about 11:30 am CST. In the meantime, we encourage you to RSVP for the Event on our Facebook page to let us know you’re coming.

Keep in mind that this is our first live chat, so bear with us if there are any minor issues that arise. This should be an exciting and educational opportunity to connect with enthusiastic birders around the country. We look forward to chatting with you.
