I’ve had this feeder since 2000! We bought it in memory of a special cock-a-poo. It has been a great feeder, held up to weather, & critters! The birds have always flocked to it! The design is different now it appears. Our base does not snap off unfortunately & I’m having some issues finally with it draining. Today I worked on ours to try to fix it! But imagine a feeder that has been highly successful for 24 years %! I may have to buy the new design! This is obviously a well constructed feeder! Squirrels don’t mess with it much either!

Really like the extra capacity, the multiple perches and the seed tray. Removable comes in handy for cleaning. Quality of construction is good
