The feed bucket has a generous sized bucket with a large 1.5 lb feed capacity. This means you will have to make fewer trips to the feeder to load it up with seed. More enjoyment, less filling. The 17″ dome baffle shields feed from rain and snow, and easily slides up to expose the feed compartment for easy loading of seed.
This sturdy design is made in the USA and constructed of rugged and resilient polycarbonate that will last for many years. I first saw this feeder at my neighbor’s and loved it, so I bought one for myself about 10 years ago. My friend liked mine so I bought him one as a house warming gift and he comments often about how much he’s enjoying it. Easy to fill and particularly easy to take apart and clean. I’ve had to grease the pole with vaseline to keep squirrels from climbing it.
