Works great. It prevents doves from getting on the lower platform and eating all the food.

The cage works well to keep doves off the feeder. We squeezed together every other vertical rod to allow grosbeaks a wider access to the seed. It works great! We can send you a photo of the modified cage, if you’re interested.

I would recommend adding the squirrel cage to the all weather feeder as it does keep squirrels and nuisance, larger birds from getting at the seeds. I personally think it should be sold as part of the feeder and not as an “add on”
