The Birding Pole Kit is adaptable for mounting to most bird houses or feeders. This dynamic pole features five 16″ sections, with tapered ends which connect the pieces together easily. The two included plastic adapters allow you to mount wooden or metal items to the pole. A square mounting plate has eight holes on its base, to support a base 2.875″ square or larger. The round adapter features 3/4″ threads at the top, which connect to a threaded tube feeder. Place the other end of each adapter on the top of the pole. The sturdy steel pole is powder coated in black, to blend with any surrounding and last for several seasons. Add a ground socket to the pole for additional stability. Display your favorite bird house or feeder on this Birding Pole Kit. The weight capacity is up to 22 lbs. See below for additional detailed specifications.

These work really well with the platform feeder sold here. Only problem encountered is the feeder platform will go round & round and doesn’t stay fixed in one position because it doesn’t fit tightly enough on the pole. Our squirrels also share our feeders with the birds & they cause the platform movement.
